Best make up
Cosmetic retailers should be able to give information on the best make up to use. Some items deride from hazardous materials like petroleum and SLS (sodium dodecyl sulfate) which are known to cause dermatitis (rash, inflammation, eczema)–these are not recommended.
Many consider mineral cosmetics the best make up. They are a mixture of minerals and pigments that are pulverized into tiny crystals that are then overlaid over each other to create a filter that allows the skin to breathe. Since they do not clog pores or irritate the skin, there is a substantially less risk of getting eczema from mineral-based products.
A large number of organic and natural companies boast of having the best make up. These products include ingredients that were not tested on animals or involved harmful chemicals in their production. However, the FDA has no regulations on anything labeled “organic” so make sure any organic products are from a reputable company.
